Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Karl-Erik Britz made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the game, Kent Odén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rickard Åberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alex Lundblad kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Henrik Lagerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, IK Drabbel's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Sundström came free, but Christer Hafström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IK Drabbel's Christer Hafström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Sundström in the 19th minute of play. Pål Wennerqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christer Hafström. IK Drabbel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rickard Åberg came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by IK Drabbel's Kent Odén. But to his dismay, Kent Odén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Sundström in the 31st minute of play forced IK Drabbel's goalkeeper Christer Hafström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Hafström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Lagerberg in the 34th minute. If Peter Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malte Stenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A hard shot 41 in the game by Henrik Lagerberg from a close distance when the talented Christer Hafström managed to make a qualified save. IK Drabbel's players were relieved. 44 minutes into the match, IK Drabbel's goalkeeper Christer Hafström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrik Lagerberg. Nye's Reine Bäcklin suffered a fractured collar bone after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Yngve Ek fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IK Drabbel's protests and gave Yngve Ek a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, IK Drabbel's Yngve Ek got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Lagerberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Henrik Lagerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Lagerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Lundblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Hafström having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in IK Drabbel's zone, Helge Wiman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Hafström came out of the goal and Helge Wiman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of IK Drabbel booed when Nye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Wiman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Kent Odén managed to get in a good position for a shot. IK Drabbel's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Odén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rickard Åberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kent Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Åberg having to interfere. In the 74thth minute of the game Karl-Erik Britz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nye's Rickard Åberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henrik Lagerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rickard Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Erik Britz in the 79th minute of the match. Christer Hafström came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nye's Henrik Lagerberg. But to his dismay, Henrik Lagerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Nye:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IK Drabbel:s goal. Nye's Rickard Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Britz in the 95th minute of play.
