Håkan Jelm came out of the goal and Bernt Hedström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michel Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Lasses IK's Per-Arne Lind got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernt Hedström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Per-Arne Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Starkin Wonders defense, Per-Arne Lind kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Håkan Jelm. The Starkin Wonders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Håkan Jelm should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the game, Lasses IK's Per-Arne Lind nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Håkan Jelm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Bernt Hedström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Håkan Jelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Üllar Ingelborg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Starkin Wonders's Håkan Jelm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Starkin Wonders from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Arne Lind in the 47th minute of play forced Starkin Wonders's goalkeeper Håkan Jelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per-Arne Lind was the one to do the kick off. Håkan Jelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Arne Lind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Arne Lind in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Jelm saved Starkin Wonders from getting behind. Håkan Jelm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernt Hedström went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Bernt Hedström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Jelm having to interfere. In the 66th minute Per-Arne Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Jelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Arne Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Jelm having to interfere. When Per-Arne Lind came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Lasses IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Arne Lind couldn't finish the play. Mårten Ekelund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Tunander in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes Lasses IK got a freekick which was hit by Michel Gunnarsson. Harry Nordin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mårten Ekelund came out and tried to block the shot, but Harry Nordin slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 79th minute. Bernt Hedström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mårten Wennersten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Håkan Jelm having to make a save. Mårten Wennersten struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Håkan Jelm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lasses IK. A collision led to Lasses IK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Üllar Ingelborg hit a great ball. Lasses IK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
