Marcus Hökqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Algot Forssberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48thth minute of the game Per-Åke Pihlgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åtvidaberg FF's Algot Forssberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Reine Myr made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Åtvidaberg FF getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Sixten Vestlund hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Marcus Hökqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anderstorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Hökqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Algot Forssberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Algot Forssberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reine Myr in the 57th minute of the match. Marcus Hökqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 63 played minutes Åtvidaberg FF got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Samuelsson. 65 minutes in the game, Reine Myr dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With a little luck, Åtvidaberg FF's Algot Forssberg got control of the ball when Peter Haraldsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Reine Myr's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Algot Forssberg was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Åtvidaberg FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcus Hökqvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Hökqvist got free with Algot Forssberg in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
