Spectators: 6778 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bertil Edström kicked off to start the match. Elliott Blanck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peder Matsson having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertil Edström in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peder Matsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Bertil Edström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peder Matsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Botsmark getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Nils Ström hit a great ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Bertil Edström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Botsmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Edström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evert Kvick in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnny Åkesson saved Botsmark from getting behind. Bertil Edström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peder Matsson having to interfere. Elliott Blanck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peder Matsson having to interfere. Peder Matsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Edström, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Bo Kvalfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Åkesson having to interfere. Elliott Blanck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peder Matsson having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Kvick during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Kyliga Osby got a freekick which was hit by Evert Kvick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evert Kvick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peder Matsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Gabrielsson in the 52nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Kyliga Osby's Evert Kvick slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Johnny Åkesson. That made the score 1-1 after 54 minutes of play. If Elliott Blanck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Kvick in the 61st minute of play forced Botsmark's goalkeeper Johnny Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Tor Strömberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Evert Kvick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Botsmark's Bertil Edström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peder Matsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 70th minute, Bertil Edström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Evert Kvick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Kvalfält sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnny Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Kvick in the 78th minute of the match. When Bertil Edström came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Botsmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertil Edström couldn't finish the play. Botsmark's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
