Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bengt-Rune Lundqvist kicked off to start the match. Hans Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Björkqvist in the 6th minute of play. Björköby's Rolf Smedfeldt was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Christer Tunberg's late challenge caught a Tryde FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Tunberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tryde FF booed when Björköby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Tunberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Malm hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to Björköby getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jörn Hermansson hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Bengt-Rune Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustav Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Sundström having to interfere. If Jan-Ove Björkqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edvard Söderquist to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Kent Wallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match, Bengt-Rune Lundqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hans Sundström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Bengt-Rune Lundqvist came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Tryde FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Rune Lundqvist couldn't finish the play. If Jan-Ove Björkqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Edvard Söderquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björköby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvard Söderquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edvard Söderquist struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Aleksander Larsfelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björköby. Björköby's Hans Sundström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Björköby from getting a goal against them. Jan-Ove Björkqvist in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hans Sundström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jan-Ove Björkqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Hans Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tryde FF players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
