A collision led to Cereal Killers getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Tomas Beck hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Jonatan Lundin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Håkan Bredberg. Torshälla IS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonatan Lundin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Patrick Nordin charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Nordin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patrick Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Patrick Nordin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morgan Hedbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaf Hermansson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Arne Odén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Hedbom in the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Torshälla IS defense, Karl-Åke Anundsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Håkan Bredberg. The Torshälla IS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Håkan Bredberg should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cereal Killers's goalkeeper Arne Odén, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manfred Tunander kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Manfred Mager in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arne Odén, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Torshälla IS's Ingemar Hamnberg pulled a muscle in his back after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Carl Österlund fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cereal Killers's protests and gave Carl Österlund a yellow card for diving instead. Carl Österlund kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Karl-Åke Anundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cereal Killers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Åke Anundsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Cereal Killers were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Manfred Mager managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torshälla IS's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfred Mager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Odén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jonatan Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karl-Åke Anundsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Håkan Bredberg having to make a save. Karl-Åke Anundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Torshälla IS's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Åke Anundsson came free, but Håkan Bredberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Torshälla IS's Morgan Hedbom got a free kick in the 80th minute. With his leg Håkan Bredberg managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Cereal Killers's Jonatan Lundin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Lundin got free with Håkan Bredberg in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, Cereal Killers's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Hermansson came free, but Arne Odén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Mager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Odén having to interfere. Torshälla IS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Karl-Åke Anundsson scored to the left of an out of position Håkan Bredberg, making the score, 0-3. Håkan Bredberg made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Jonatan Lundin sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Cereal Killers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Torshälla IS.
