Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vårgårda's Tommy Jonsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Vårgårda's goal looked a bit too open when August Beneth came free, but Staffan Persson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Vårgårda's Torsten Markusson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Georg Burman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Lennartsson in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Staffan Persson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Lennartsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Staffan Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vårgårda getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Torsten Markusson hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Vårgårda's goalkeeper Staffan Persson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Oskar Johnsson. 26 minutes into the match, Vårgårda's Tommy Jonsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georg Burman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Lennartsson in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Staffan Persson saved Vårgårda from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Lennartsson in the 34th minute of play forced Vårgårda's goalkeeper Staffan Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Johannes Rolandsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georg Burman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Godholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Karl-Oskar Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Persson having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Oskar Johnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Sätet SK's Georg Burman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Jonsson in the 67th minute of play. Staffan Persson came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Sätet SK's Richard Lennartsson. But to his dismay, Richard Lennartsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Karl-Oskar Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Staffan Persson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sätet SK. In the 80thth minute of the game Karl-Oskar Johnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vårgårda's Staffan Persson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Martin Näver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vårgårda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sätet SK the free kick. Richard Lennartsson placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 92 minutes of play, Sätet SK's Karl-Oskar Johnsson made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Staffan Persson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Palmquist in the 96th minute of play forced Sätet SK's goalkeeper Georg Burman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Oskar Johnsson in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Staffan Persson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Sätet SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
