The crowd rose to their feet as Gullaboås IF's Samuel Brogren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Göran Juhlin. That made the score 3-0 after 20 minutes of play. Erland Gallin charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Evert Lövgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Ekerot in the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Isaac Kjellkvist made a precise shot to the right of Evert Lövgren. Gullaboås IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Göran Juhlin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

Göran Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Utfal, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 68th minute, Per-Erik Alström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Samuel Brogren came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Gullaboås IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Brogren couldn't finish the play. Gullaboås IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vilhelm Ekerot 72 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-3. In the 75th match minute, Jesus Lärjungar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Gallin to maneuver through the defense. Gullaboås IF's Jesper Bogren got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evert Lövgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Ekerot in the 80th minute of play. Göran Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Utfal, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Samuel Brogren made a precise shot to the right of Göran Juhlin. Jesus Lärjungar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-3. Evert Lövgren made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Isaac Kjellkvist sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Jesus Lärjungar's zone, Ivar Hellbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Juhlin came out of the goal and Ivar Hellbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jesus Lärjungar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gullaboås IF.
