After having played for 20 minutes, Pelle Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nye RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pelle Hedlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Nye RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Lönn to maneuver through the defense. André Alström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Lang having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Frövägen Hotspurs's zone, Alexander Bergström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt came out of the goal and Alexander Bergström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Karl-Axel Bergkvist hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pelle Hedlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arvin Lang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stellan Bolin's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Sundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Aron Nord hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Stellan Bolin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvin Lang was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stellan Bolin in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arvin Lang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Alström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arvin Lang having to make a save. The supporters of Frövägen Hotspurs booed when Nye RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Nord didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nye RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Alström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Nye RK's Ove Sundström got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ove Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt having to interfere. Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute Stellan Bolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stellan Bolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Arvin Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Frövägen Hotspurs fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nye RK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
