Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marko Wikander started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gösta Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Sjöberg in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hammarstrand defense, Börje Sjöberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gösta Håkansson. The Hammarstrand fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gösta Håkansson should have stopped the shot. Gösta Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Sikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Örebro Syrianska got a freekick which was hit by Nils Västerstrand. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vidar Anselius to make the kick off. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Örebro Syrianska had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
