The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Lindberg during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Algot Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigiusz Tomaszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, FC Karlskoga's Remigiusz Tomaszewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Algot Bengtsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 12 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Van Mechelen. 13 minutes into the game, Remigiusz Tomaszewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Algot Bengtsson. Remigiusz Tomaszewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Sakarias Nordstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Algot Bengtsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Enegren to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Finsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Enegren in the 31st minute of play. Algot Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigiusz Tomaszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Enegren in the 36th minute of play forced FC Karlskoga's goalkeeper Edgar Finsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Frans Enegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Finsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ralf Pedersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Remigiusz Tomaszewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Algot Bengtsson was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

In the 50th match minute, FC Karlskoga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Kielberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Nordstedt in the 53rd minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Algot Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Algot Bengtsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Algren in the 63rd minute of the match. Algot Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakarias Nordstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Remigiusz Tomaszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algot Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Karlskoga's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Egil Kielberg in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on FC Karlskoga's corner Egil Kielberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Algot Bengtsson quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Remigiusz Tomaszewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Algot Bengtsson was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Frans Enegren kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 78thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Karlskoga's keeper Edgar Finsberg was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. FC Karlskoga made a substitution. Folke Söderström replaced Ralf Pedersson. Alfred Van Mechelen made a great header on Liverpool FC's corner, it was just that FC Karlskoga's Edgar Finsberg managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, FC Karlskoga's Egil Kielberg got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 89 minutes, Allan Fernkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverpool FC and the FC Karlskoga players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Allan Fernkvist hit a great ball. After 91 minutes of play, Liverpool FC's Frans Enegren made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Finsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 95 minutes, Frans Enegren made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Karlskoga's Edgar Finsberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Karlskoga had played much better football throughout.
