The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Oskar Åhman in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Sigfridsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, IKS Norrköping's Sverker Skröder got a free kick in the 5th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Simon Dahlman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IKS Norrköping's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Dahlman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Sigfridsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Forssell, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Emil Wahlström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Dahlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Wahlström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Hedström in the 21st minute. If Marcus Hedström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hogans Heroes's Charles Gregersson got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 39th match minute, IKS Norrköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Hedström to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Sven-Oskar Åhman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Sigfridsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to IKS Norrköping getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sverker Skröder hit a great ball. When Sven-Oskar Åhman came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Hogans Heroes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Oskar Åhman couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Hogans Heroes's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Fredriksson came free, but Emil Wahlström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Fredriksson in the 70th minute of play forced Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper Emil Wahlström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
