The supporters of Olimpia 2004 Elbląg booed when Okopy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Brak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartlomiej Kuszczak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Izydor Kolano went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Rafal Dylla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartlomiej Kuszczak was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Rafal Dylla made a precise shot to the right of Bartlomiej Kuszczak. Olimpia 2004 Elbląg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafal Dylla in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartlomiej Kuszczak saved Olimpia 2004 Elbląg from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Zygmunt Zbytniewski made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafal Dylla in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartlomiej Kuszczak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Okopy's Radowit Mocko to fire away a dangerous shot which Bartlomiej Kuszczak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rafal Dylla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bartlomiej Kuszczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartlomiej Kuszczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafal Dylla's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Izydor Kolanos short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Bartlomiej Kuszczak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Rafal Dylla took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Bartlomiej Kuszczak to make any attempt to save it. When Izydor Kolano came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Okopy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Izydor Kolano couldn't finish the play. If Rafal Dylla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 87 minutes into the game, Rafal Dylla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Bartlomiej Kuszczak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Okopy's Tolek Fronczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Zbytniewski in the 95th minute of play. Izydor Kolano struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Bartlomiej Kuszczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Okopy. The Olimpia 2004 Elbląg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Okopy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
