Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alan Rødsjø took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Hukdal getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Kyrre Løken hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakob Bartnes in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torjus Hol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute, Jakob Bartnes made a precise shot to the right of Torjus Hol. Hukdal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 12th match minute, Byggda IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnstein Worren to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Jakob Bartnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torjus Hol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torjus Hol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Bartnes in the 16th minute of play. Torjus Hol came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Byggda IL's Simen Sæbø. But to his dismay, Simen Sæbø quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Byggda IL's zone, Tor-Ivar Omdal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mao Jun Xu came out of the goal and Tor-Ivar Omdal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Tor-Ivar Omdal took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Mao Jun Xu to make any attempt to save it. Alan Rødsjø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mao Jun Xu having to interfere. Roar Gjelsvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torjus Hol having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Byggda IL got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Bartnes. Kyrre Løken charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kyrre Løken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Byggda IL booed when Hukdal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyrre Løken didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Byggda IL's Jakob Bartnes in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hukdal's goalie prevented a goal. Torjus Hol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Bartnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Byggda IL were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakob Bartnes to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 59 minutes, Arnstein Worren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Byggda IL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnstein Worren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hukdal's Torjus Hol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Bartnes in the 65th minute of play. Hukdal's Torjus Hol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Hukdal from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnstein Worren got free with Torjus Hol in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Fylkesnes hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With his leg Torjus Hol managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Byggda IL's Jakob Bartnes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Hukdal's Torjus Hol got control of the ball when Jakob Bartnes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Martin Fylkesnes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hukdal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Byggda IL the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Hukdal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Fylkesnes to maneuver through the defense. Martin Fylkesnes kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hukdal's zone, Tormod Kristiansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torjus Hol came out of the goal and Tormod Kristiansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Jakob Bartnes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torjus Hol. Hukdal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jakob Bartnes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. In the 88th minute, Jakob Bartnes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Torjus Hol. The goal made the score 1-7. Jakob Bartnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Byggda IL walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
