The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nico Daalmeyer hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute of the match Carlo Dagelet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Lamey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Casper Lamey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Bult, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Ronald Bult shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Lamey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronald Bult fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Lamey having to interfere. Carlo Dagelet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Casper Lamey. Hell's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute Domwier Excelsior were awarded a corner. Carlo Dagelet went to the cornerflag to take it. Domwier Excelsior's Carlo Dagelet was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Casper Lamey in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 17 minutes into the match, Hell's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Bult came free, but Casper Lamey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Domwier Excelsior's Daniël Middeljans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Lamey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Melvin Walstra charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melvin Walstra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Domwier Excelsior booed when Hell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melvin Walstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Lamey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martien Bronkhorst in the 24th minute of the match. Casper Lamey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martien Bronkhorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Johannes Holt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Looze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Domwier Excelsior's Martien Bronkhorst got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Daniël Middeljans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Lamey. Hell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniël Middeljans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 34th minute, Martien Bronkhorst made a precise shot to the right of Casper Lamey. Hell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 39th match minute, Hell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Daalmeyer to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes of play Hell's Melvin Walstra was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Hell's Melvin Walstra got a free kick in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hell's zone, Ronald Bult stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Lamey came out of the goal and Ronald Bult tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domwier Excelsior's Pascal Lambers got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Hell's goalkeeper Casper Lamey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurens Hoving. Daniël Middeljans took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casper Lamey. Casper Lamey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Floris Jonge kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Hell's Casper Lamey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Hell from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Hell's goalkeeper Casper Lamey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniël Middeljans. Pascal Lambers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Lamey having to interfere. After 67 minutes of play, Domwier Excelsior's Martien Bronkhorst made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Lamey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniël Middeljans did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Casper Lamey 71 minutes into the match. Daniël Middeljans scored 0-7 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Lamey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniël Middeljans came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Casper Lamey could save by the left post. Casper Lamey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Bult, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Casper Lamey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniël Middeljans went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Domwier Excelsior played a much better game than Hell and deserved their victory. The Hell players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
