Olmo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Enrico Fabri scored to the left of an out of position Felice Terrasi, making the score, 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Anselmo Di Silvio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the ERTANZO defense, Fausto Domina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Lorefice. The ERTANZO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Lorefice should have stopped the shot. If Enrico Fabri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 43 in the game by Christian Zacchia from a close distance when the talented Felice Terrasi managed to make a qualified save. Olmo's players were relieved. When Anselmo Di Silvio came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Olmo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Di Silvio couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Christian Zacchia took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Felice Terrasi to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Zacchia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Di Silvio got free with Eugenio Lorefice in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugenio Lorefice was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anselmo Di Silvio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 59 minute of play. A collision led to ERTANZO getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Francesco De Feo hit a great ball. ERTANZO's Eugenio Lorefice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Di Silvio in the 64th minute of play. Fulvio Conforti made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Christian Zacchia. After having played for 71 minutes, Enrico Fabri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ERTANZO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrico Fabri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
