Raymond Mazel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Marquinhos Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Saarinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Yves Dordain having to interfere. With a little luck, massïlia's Jean-Yves Dordain got control of the ball when Ali Saarinen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Ali Saarinen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jean-Yves Dordain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noa Mony during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ali Saarinen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-Yves Dordain having to make a save. Benjamin Tissot hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Mehdi Vallier hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viviano Casado in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Yves Dordain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, massïlia's Jean-Yves Dordain got control of the ball when Ali Saarinen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean-Yves Dordain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viviano Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Viviano Casado sped through massïlia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jean-Yves Dordain. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
After 52 played minutes massïlia got a freekick which was hit by Patrice Lelarge. If Viviano Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ali Saarinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th minute Ali Saarinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Yves Dordain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Mourad Gandon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th match minute, Marseille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viviano Casado to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Yves Dordain came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Marseille's Viviano Casado. But to his dismay, Viviano Casado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Marseille's Tierney McJames in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye massïlia's goalie prevented a goal. The massïlia fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when massïlia's Ramzi Guyonvarch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Raymond Mazel came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marquinhos Macedo could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viviano Casado in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Yves Dordain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jean-Yves Dordain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viviano Casado in the 84th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Mario Schutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marquinhos Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehdi Vallier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
