A sloppy throw-in by Luis Delgado in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Zorropostrocos's Carlos Saura. If Eloy Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute Troy Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Alfaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Azofra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Marco Maroto made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Zorropostrocos's Marco Azofra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Maroto. Marco Maroto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Marco Maroto made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Marco Azofra sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Troy Villanueva made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Marco Azofra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Cano during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 minutes, Marco Azofra made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chozas UD's Marco Maroto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Chozas UD defense, Marco Azofra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Maroto. The Chozas UD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Maroto should have stopped the shot. In the 71st match minute, Zorropostrocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eneko Navas to maneuver through the defense. Marco Maroto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Marin in the 83rd minute of play. When Carlos Saura fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zorropostrocos's protests and gave Carlos Saura a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Marco Azofra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zorropostrocos's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Azofra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Maroto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Chozas UD's Elvio Alfaro threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Troy Villanueva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zorropostrocos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
