After a defensive mix-up in Skvades's zone, Gynther Weldingh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Weege came out of the goal and Gynther Weldingh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gynther Weldingh in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Weege prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gynther Weldingh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt Stanelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Trolleborg in the 13th minute of the match. Philip Weege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janick Stevold in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philip Mensved during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bengt Stanelt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Omar Houdorf. Gynther Weldingh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 minutes, Ulrick Janø mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skvades and the Almtoft AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Skvades was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrick Janø to maneuver through the defense. Philip Weege showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janick Stevold in the 29th minute of the match. Philip Weege didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gynther Weldingh went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tonni Djervil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Bengt Stanelt made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Arne Trolleborg took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Bengt Stanelt to make any attempt to save it. If Arne Trolleborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Trolleborg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Gynther Weldingh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gynther Weldingh might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philip Weege. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gynther Weldingh ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Janick Stevold's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philip Weege was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Niklaes Retsby was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, one of Almtoft AC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Almtoft AC. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Skvades. Omar Houdorf stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bengt Stanelt. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tonni Djervil in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt Stanelt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tonni Djervil in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Stanelt saved Almtoft AC from getting behind. Arne Trolleborg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tonni Djervil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Arne Trolleborg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skvades's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Trolleborg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Almtoft AC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skvades.
