The supporters of Wolzburg FSV booed when FC BUTT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kunibert Fritzsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Titus Götz made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Miguel Deling sent off a good shot on target. Titus Götz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekkehard Oesterreich in the 16th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Nicholas Tschauner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC BUTT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolzburg FSV the free kick. 26 minutes into the match, FC BUTT's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Koenig came free, but Herbert Paasch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Paasch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Koenig in the 28th minute of play. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Robert Koenig sped through FC BUTT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Herbert Paasch. Titus Götz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Weisskirchen in the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Koenig in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Paasch saved FC BUTT from getting behind. If Robert Koenig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Koenig struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Herbert Paasch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolzburg FSV. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 57 played minutes FC BUTT got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Deling. Robert Koenig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Robert Koenig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolzburg FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Koenig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Wolzburg FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Deling came free, but Titus Götz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Koenigs short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Herbert Paasch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Herbert Paasch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kersten Hiller, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Vito Freise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Herbert Paasch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC BUTT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Robert Koenig scored to the left of an out of position Herbert Paasch, making the score, 0-2. Titus Götz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Weisskirchen in the 91st minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Robert Koenig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolzburg FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Koenig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wolzburg FSV played a much better game than FC BUTT and deserved their victory. The FC BUTT players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
