Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emanuel Wolter made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute of the match, Norman Grob got a very nice opportunity to score, but Richart Rübin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 12 played minutes FC Seßlach got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Joosten. With 18 minutes on the clock, Josua Voss commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 18th minute, one of Nettesheim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nettesheim. Richart Rübin went to the wrong direction when Philo Wilkendorf was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Odo Haupt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horst Starke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Wolter got free with Richart Rübin in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Norman Grob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Wolter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richart Rübin was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Emanuel Wolter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Richart Rübin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Nettesheim getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Raffael Ullmann hit a great ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Horst Starke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nettesheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horst Starke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horst Starke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odo Haupt having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Johan Kallenbrunnen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Grob in the 45th minute of play forced Nettesheim's goalkeeper Richart Rübin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horst Starke made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, one of Nettesheim:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave FC Seßlach a penalty, 52 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Philo Wilkendorf, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nettesheim's Richart Rübin. 1-0. Horst Starke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odo Haupt having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Wolter in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richart Rübin saved Nettesheim from getting behind. Richart Rübin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Grob, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Johan Kallenbrunnen's late challenge caught a Nettesheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johan Kallenbrunnen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Seßlach's Johan Kallenbrunnen got a free kick in the 76th minute. With a little luck, FC Seßlach's Odo Haupt got control of the ball when Horst Starke tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Niclas Mauer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Horst Starke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Odo Haupt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niclas Mauer during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nettesheim's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
