Slavia Praha's Tomáš Sokol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Slouka in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Stanislav Slouka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bucek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislav Slouka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomáš Harašta got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Teodor Krupička. When Markus Laník fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slavia Praha's protests and gave Markus Laník a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Markus Laník hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Ondřej Živný could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Tomáš Sokol however easily saved by the left post. Jaroslav Holeš hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bořek Klvaňa in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludovít Dočekal saved Bucek from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Krupička in the 30th minute of play forced Slavia Praha's goalkeeper Tomáš Sokol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Jaroslav Holeš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomáš Sokol was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and František Kahánek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. František Kahánek really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Bořek Klvaňa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slavia Praha's supporters rose to their feet, but Bořek Klvaňa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludovít Dočekal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Bucek's zone, Bořek Klvaňa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludovít Dočekal came out of the goal and Bořek Klvaňa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ludovít Dočekal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bořek Klvaňa's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Jaroslav Holeš recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sergej Hrbek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stanislav Slouka to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomáš Sokol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ondřej Živný in the 52nd minute of the match. After 62 minutes of play, Bucek's František Kahánek made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomáš Sokol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lukáš Kopřiva kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Jaroslav Holeš struck a weak shot in the 69th minute.
