In the 8th minute, Ctirad Večerka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomáš Puč was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Erkan Adar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Hejkal in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Bohumil Horčička put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Tomáš Puč. FK Luku Tábor's Erkan Adar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save FK Luku Tábor from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, FK Luku Tábor's goal looked a bit too open when Oto Jágr came free, but Erkan Adar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Ctirad Večerka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Puč saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Soběslav's Erkan Adar threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gláuber Matos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FK Luku Tábor's Erkan Adar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FK Luku Tábor from getting a goal against them. Erkan Adar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Gajdoš in the 34th minute of the match. Erkan Adar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Matos in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st play minute Jan Hejkal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Erkan Adar. 1-4. If Bohumil Horčička had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes FK Luku Tábor got a freekick which was hit by Ctirad Večerka. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Hejkal was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Gláuber Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkan Adar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erkan Adar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. FK Luku Tábor's Jaroslav Daňo was substituted for Libor Netopil. Soběslav's Tomáš Puč played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bohumil Horčička in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Luděk Lupač ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erkan Adar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Gláuber Matos's late challenge caught a FK Luku Tábor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gláuber Matos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Gláuber Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugen Kohl struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Tomáš Puč didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Luku Tábor. Jiří Sádlík's late challenge caught a Soběslav's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jiří Sádlík helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Jiří Sádlík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gláuber Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erkan Adar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gláuber Matos ran back to his position shaking his head. Jiří Indrák made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Oto Jágr however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bohumil Horčička in the 95th minute of play forced Soběslav's goalkeeper Tomáš Puč to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Tomáš Puč successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
