The penalty shot was made by Marino Bachelard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GoDarwin Lugano's Mirko Léveillé. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Marco Oderholz made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, GoDarwin Lugano's Marvin Pauli got a free kick in the 55th minute. Mirko Léveillé made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fremont Zinsli in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Nicola Sauber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, FC Peniskopf's goal looked a bit too open when Gabor Racine came free, but Ferrante Jeker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fremont Zinsli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mirko Léveillé tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Anatol Sommer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anatol Sommer might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mirko Léveillé. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anatol Sommer ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, GoDarwin Lugano's Mirko Léveillé got control of the ball when Fremont Zinsli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 99th match minute, FC Peniskopf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flemming Rominger to maneuver through the defense.
