Gene Bragger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nero Belliger in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Eschlikon's Frederic Flückiger got a free kick in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederic Flückiger during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, FC Eschlikon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederic Flückiger to maneuver through the defense. Gugu Bebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Santschi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Bebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Bebe in the 33rd minute of play forced Roncapiano HC's goalkeeper Samuel Santschi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Eschlikon booed when Roncapiano HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placidus Baumgartner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gugu Bebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Eschlikon's supporters rose to their feet, but Gugu Bebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Santschi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 played minutes, FC Eschlikon's Rodrique Ludwig shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samuel Santschi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Eschlikon reached it. 43 minutes into the match, FC Eschlikon's Dolf Theiss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Santschi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nero Belliger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gene Bragger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 55th minute, Gugu Bebe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Samuel Santschi. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 63rd minute, Gugu Bebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dolf Theiss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Samuel Santschi made a huge save. Mitja Murray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gene Bragger having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Eschlikon defense, Nero Belliger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gene Bragger. The FC Eschlikon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gene Bragger should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Roncapiano HC's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Bebe came free, but Samuel Santschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dolf Theiss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Santschi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gugu Bebe's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, FC Eschlikon's Gugu Bebe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Santschi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gugu Bebe spun around in front of the goal 90 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Samuel Santschi grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. Dolf Theisss short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Samuel Santschi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
