Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sergiu Popilean started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Ghirolt's Eugen Zeciu got a free kick in the 6th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Eugen Zeciu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghirolt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciuari the free kick. In the 16th minute, Eugen Zeciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sever Călinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Tirulescu in the 17th minute of play. Traian Albulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes of play, Ciuari's Traian Albulescu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sever Călinescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sever Călinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Tirulescu in the 30th minute of the match. Ioan Trandafir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ştefan Tirulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sever Călinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Albulescu in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ghirolt! Leonard Brezeanu placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Traian Albulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sever Călinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Traian Albulescu made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ioan Trandafir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcu Manole was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Ştefan Tirulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcu Manole showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioan Trandafir in the 61st minute of the match. Ciuari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ghirolt the free kick. A collision led to Ciuari getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mihnea Zmărăndache hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Traian Albulescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ciuari booed when Ghirolt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Rednic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ştefan Tirulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sever Călinescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ştefan Tirulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes into the match, Ghirolt's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Albulescu came free, but Sever Călinescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcu Manole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Trandafir in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ciuari walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
