Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vasile Muntian got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute of the match Ernest Răuțu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Acatincăi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felix Acatincăi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remus Hârtopanu in the 6th minute. A collision led to Dridif getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Denis Bidulescu hit a great ball. Leonard Pivniceru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alin Hobjilă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Centurion Lions's Vasile Muntian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alin Hobjilă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Daniel Racoviță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remus Hârtopanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remus Hârtopanu got free with Felix Acatincăi in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Acatincăi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remus Hârtopanu in the 30th minute. Felix Acatincăi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Racoviță in the 30th minute of the match. Centurion Lions's Felix Acatincăi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Racoviță in the 33rd minute of play. Daniel Racoviță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Felix Acatincăi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Remus Hârtopanu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Felix Acatincăi, passed just outside the right post. 40 minutes into the match, Dridif's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Pivniceru came free, but Alin Hobjilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sabin Hârtopanu fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centurion Lions's protests and gave Sabin Hârtopanu a yellow card for diving instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Racoviță to make the kick off. Daniel Racoviță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Acatincăi having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Centurion Lions got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Hreapcă. Remus Hârtopanu struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Felix Acatincăi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dridif. In the 62nd minute, Remus Hârtopanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Centurion Lions's Alin Hobjilă threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vasile Muntian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Daniel Racoviță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Felix Acatincăi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogdan Mazăre charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogdan Mazăre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bogdan Mazăre hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Dridif's Sabin Urducea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Centurion Lions. If Daniel Racoviță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Acatincăi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Racoviță, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Centurion Lions's zone, Daniel Racoviță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Acatincăi came out of the goal and Daniel Racoviță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remus Hârtopanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dridif's Remus Hârtopanu in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Centurion Lions's goalie prevented a goal. Felix Acatincăi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Racoviță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Remus Hârtopanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dridif's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
