The Argestru CS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Florin Lupu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sebastian Baldovin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Argestru CS's Florin Lupu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ciao-Ciao's zone, Florin Lupu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Baldovin came out of the goal and Florin Lupu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Romeo Ciorogaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciao-Ciao's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Ciorogaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Petrescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeo Ciorogaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Petrescu having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florin Lupu was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Emanuel Ilie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florin Lupu struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Sebastian Baldovin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argestru CS. After a rather tough play, Argestru CS's Isac Neguțu got a free kick in the 59th minute. Florin Petrescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Ciorogaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Lupu in the 65th minute of play forced Ciao-Ciao's goalkeeper Sebastian Baldovin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argestru CS's Emanuel Ilie got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florin Lupu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Baldovin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Lupu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Ciao-Ciao's Constantin Beca got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Lupu in the 79th minute of play forced Ciao-Ciao's goalkeeper Sebastian Baldovin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florin Petrescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After having played for 91 minutes, Florin Lupu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argestru CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Lupu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Ciao-Ciao supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Argestru CS's performance. The match ended with a win for Argestru CS.
