In the 7th minute, Marian Achifoaiei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes FC Viitorul Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Blajovici. The audience was convinced that Panait Marghescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiberiu Siniştean was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 22 minutes FC Viitorul Buzau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristian Urdeş who took care of the corner kick. Marian Achifoaiei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tiberiu Siniştean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emilian Ciolpan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Viitorul Buzau booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Barbăsură didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Mugurel Agârbiceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Beraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silviu Filimon hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Cosmin Potocianu got a free kick in the 34th minute. Codrin Beraru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Cosoroabă in the 38th minute of the match. Codrin Beraru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Ciolpan in the 39th minute of play. Panait Marghescu in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiberiu Siniştean, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nechifor Blajovici in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Beraru saved Paralia Athens from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Nechifor Blajovici made the kick off in the second half. Mugurel Agârbiceanu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Mugurel Agârbiceanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Viitorul Buzau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cristian Urdeş hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Panait Marghescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Siniştean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Panait Marghescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tiberiu Siniştean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Codrin Beraru came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Viitorul Buzau's Emilian Ciolpan. But to his dismay, Emilian Ciolpan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Filip Iorgovan hit a great ball. Codrin Beraru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nechifor Blajovici in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manole Domuță got free with Codrin Beraru in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Paralia Athens's Panait Marghescu in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Viitorul Buzau's goalie prevented a goal. In the 87th minute Panait Marghescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Siniştean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codrin Beraru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Agârbiceanu in the 93rd minute of play. Codrin Drilea hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. FC Viitorul Buzau's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
