After 42 minutes, Antanas Kiela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ariux and the Royal Club Siauliai players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

53 minutes into the match, Royal Club Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Laimutis Dabašinskas came free, but Dangiras Labuckas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Benjaminas Buitkus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dangiras Labuckas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svajūnas Petronis struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Eurelijus Stanišauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal Club Siauliai.
