Kylänlahti's Veli Mäkiaho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turo Hietalahti in the 22nd minute of play. Turo Hietalahti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veli Mäkiaho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Turo Hietalahti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Kylänlahti's goal looked a bit too open when Turo Hietalahti came free, but Veli Mäkiaho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Rami Viuhkola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veli Mäkiaho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Turo Hietalahti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veli Mäkiaho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Unto Reinikka in the 49th minute of play.

The wind increased when Esa Rautee made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Aint No Chaperons's zone, Urmas Kinisjärvi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uolevi Nutikka came out of the goal and Urmas Kinisjärvi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute Esa Rautee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uolevi Nutikka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kylänlahti's Veli Mäkiaho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Kylänlahti from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Esa Rautee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Aint No Chaperons's goal looked a bit too open when Urmas Kinisjärvi came free, but Uolevi Nutikka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match Kaapro Torkkeli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uolevi Nutikka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Urmas Kinisjärvi took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uolevi Nutikka. Uolevi Nutikka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Esa Rautee put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Uolevi Nutikka. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saku Viinanen during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esa Rautee in the 98th minute of play forced Aint No Chaperons's goalkeeper Uolevi Nutikka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aint No Chaperons players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kylänlahti.
