Spectators: 5744 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 0) Haarald Jaama made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Põhja Tallinn's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Reeder came free, but Sven Lehtmäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Põhja Tallinn's zone, Gunnar Reeder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Lehtmäe came out of the goal and Gunnar Reeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Bert Lumi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bert Lumi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bert Lumi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Lehtmäe having to interfere. Marti Ristikivi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kuido Öpik went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute Kuido Öpik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marti Ristikivi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Lehtmäe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Reeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eevald Are kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's Gunnar Reeder got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kuido Öpik hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Sven Lehtmäe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Kaare in the 53rd minute of the match. Laur Lööper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julius Kaare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sven Lehtmäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven Lehtmäe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alari Karbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Lehtmäe came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's Julius Kaare. But to his dismay, Julius Kaare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 67 played minutes Põhja Tallinn got a freekick which was hit by Haarald Jaama. In the 69th minute Gunnar Reeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Lehtmäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uku Aver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven Lehtmäe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Laur Lööper hit a great ball. Marti Ristikivi made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Enar Lepisk sent off a good shot on target. FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's Julius Kaare got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Lukk kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Sven Lehtmäe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laur Lööper in the 84th minute of play. Bert Lumi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sven Lehtmäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julius Kaare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes of play, FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's Bert Lumi made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Lehtmäe was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi were the better team. FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
