Spectators: 6939 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçem's goal looked a bit too open when Alkan Bektaş came free, but Cüneyt Tümer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Fenerbahçem defense, Gündüz Hunalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cüneyt Tümer. The Fenerbahçem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cüneyt Tümer should have stopped the shot. After having played for 9 minutes, Alkan Bektaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osmangazi JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alkan Bektaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fenerbahçem's Cüneyt Tümer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gündüz Hunalp in the 11th minute of play. Gündüz Hunalp scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cüneyt Tümer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gündüz Hunalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkan Bektaş in the 20th minute of play forced Fenerbahçem's goalkeeper Cüneyt Tümer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahçem's zone, Alkan Bektaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cüneyt Tümer came out of the goal and Alkan Bektaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cüneyt Tümer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gündüz Hunalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Cüneyt Tümer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gündüz Hunalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Alkan Bektaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Osmangazi JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkan Bektaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cüneyt Tümer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gündüz Hunalp in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cüneyt Tümer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Alkan Bektaş came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Osmangazi JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alkan Bektaş couldn't finish the play. If Gündüz Hunalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahçem's zone, Alkan Bektaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cüneyt Tümer came out of the goal and Alkan Bektaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Osmangazi JK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gani Özselen made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Alkan Bektaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 54 played minutes Fenerbahçem got a freekick which was hit by Halil Can Şenyaşar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Refik Halit Ahioğlu put in a rough tackle. In the 60th minute, one of Fenerbahçem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fenerbahçem. Yüce Vurgun shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 66th minute, Alkan Bektaş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cüneyt Tümer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 69 minutes into the game, Yüce Vurgun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Osmangazi JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahçem the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Osmangazi JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yüce Vurgun to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Ahmet Erdem Tublek sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Osmangazi JK's Abdulhamit Ünsevin didn't even have to move. 75 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçem's goal looked a bit too open when Süruri Doğanhan came free, but Cüneyt Tümer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gündüz Hunalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cüneyt Tümer having to interfere. Alkan Bektaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
