Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gani Özselen kicked off to start the match. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Eflani's Nuratay Ünlüsoy got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cüneyt Tümer. Fenerbahçem's Gani Özselen got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Baha Reyyan took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cüneyt Tümer to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Eflani's Tugay Nursal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cüneyt Tümer. That made the score 3-0 after 22 minutes of play. After 25 played minutes Baha Reyyan rounded Fenerbahçem's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. When Şeref Nasih got free in front of the goal in the 30th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Cüneyt Tümer was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Baha Reyyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Şeref Nasih fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eflani's protests and gave Şeref Nasih a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Eflani got a freekick which was hit by Şeref Nasih. Gani Özselen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Battal Seyyit Okan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Eflani fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Fenerbahçem a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Refik Halit Ahioğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Eflani's Battal Seyyit Okan. 4-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baha Reyyan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Şeref Nasih received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cüneyt Tümer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Fenerbahçem getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Talip Yayalp hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Şeref Nasih left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eflani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Baha Reyyan took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cüneyt Tümer. Cüneyt Tümer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Şeref Nasih managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eflani's supporters rose to their feet, but Şeref Nasih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cüneyt Tümer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Baha Reyyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fenerbahçem getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Talip Yayalp hit a great ball. If Baha Reyyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Eflani booed when Fenerbahçem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 91st minute of the match Melih Özkan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cüneyt Tümer skillfully saved the ball. If Baha Reyyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eflani's Şeref Nasih got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
