Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Haydar Yahya in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aybars Paye prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yiğit Can Erbaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kemalettin Fırıncıoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esenkent İdman Yurdu's Yiğit Can Erbaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kemalettin Fırıncıoğlu in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Ahmet Davut Özgurcan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esenkent İdman Yurdu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cimbali SK the free kick. 51 minutes into the game, Cimbali SK's Birant Pala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yiğit Can Erbaş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 66thth minute of the game Kemalettin Fırıncıoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esenkent İdman Yurdu's Yiğit Can Erbaş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 minutes, Vecdet Ünver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esenkent İdman Yurdu and the Cimbali SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fethi Esentürk, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
