The audience thought a goal was coming when Semavi Uzcan got free with Nuratay Akşit in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, İZMİT SK's Nuratay Akşit got control of the ball when Semavi Uzcan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferhan Balaban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Semavi Uzcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gouveia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Semavi Uzcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuratay Akşit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57thth minute of the game Hazım Gökalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but İZMİT SK's Nuratay Akşit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nuratay Akşit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semavi Uzcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. İZMİT SK's Nuratay Akşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semavi Uzcan in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Hazım Gökalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuratay Akşit was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Hazım Gökalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Nuratay Akşit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Semavi Uzcan in the 81st minute of the match. Nuratay Akşit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hazım Gökalp's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Hazım Gökalp took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuratay Akşit. Nuratay Akşit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 94 minutes of play, Gouveia FC's Semavi Uzcan made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuratay Akşit was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gouveia FC had played much better football throughout.
