Okan Eripek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hazım Gökalp in the 9th minute of the match. Bozdogan's Okan Eripek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hazım Gökalp in the 13th minute of play. Bozdogan's Okan Eripek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bozdogan from getting a goal against them. Hazım Gökalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Okan Eripek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Okan Eripek was a little too slow when Hazım Gökalp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Hazım Gökalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Semavi Uzcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Okan Eripek made a huge save. Bozdogan's Okan Eripek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Bozdogan from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Bozdogan's Kubilay Dengizer got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Kubilay Dengizer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Atalan Ünan in the 41st minute really tested Okan Eripek's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Hazım Gökalp took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Okan Eripek to make any attempt to save it. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gouveia FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Battal Gazi Patlar was slow to take the kick. During this time Bozdogan's players had a chance to rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hazım Gökalp to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Bozdogan's goal looked a bit too open when Semavi Uzcan came free, but Okan Eripek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bozdogan's zone, Semavi Uzcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Okan Eripek came out of the goal and Semavi Uzcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Battal Gazi Patlar fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bozdogan's protests and gave Battal Gazi Patlar a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bozdogan! Semavi Uzcan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Okan Eripek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Ahmet Korkut Sabuncu charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Berk Verim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bozdogan's supporters rose to their feet, but Berk Verim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aykan Gence breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gouveia FC's Aykan Gence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çağrı Maksum in the 91st minute of play. If Altay Yağızhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bozdogan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gouveia FC.
