Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cengiz Pakkan made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soner Ortaç in the 5th minute of play forced KARŞIYAKA's goalkeeper Melik Tuluk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melik Tuluk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Soner Ortaç went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Soner Ortaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melik Tuluk having to interfere. Soner Ortaç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melik Tuluk having to make a save. In the 21st minute, Gürcan Sezai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Arif Oğuz Saruhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hüseyin Turan Çidam. 30 minutes into the match, Soner Ortaç notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KARŞIYAKA's Melik Tuluk. Melik Tuluk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Soner Ortaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the game, Beşiktaş's Aral Mete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melik Tuluk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 39 minutes of play, Beşiktaş's Abdulhamit Çetinoz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melik Tuluk was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to KARŞIYAKA getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Cengiz Pakkan hit a great ball. Mete Mutluay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The KARŞIYAKA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Beşiktaş were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdulhamit Çetinoz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Mete Mutluay got a very nice opportunity to score, but Melik Tuluk was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. KARŞIYAKA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mete Mutluay 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Beşiktaş's Soner Ortaç got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Hermenegildo Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aral Mete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melik Tuluk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by KARŞIYAKA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hermenegildo Cordeiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Beşiktaş's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Abdulhamit Çetinoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beşiktaş's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulhamit Çetinoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melik Tuluk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gürcan Sezai fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KARŞIYAKA's protests and gave Gürcan Sezai a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KARŞIYAKA's Gürcan Sezai got a free kick in the 74th minute. Soner Ortaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Melik Tuluk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abdulhamit Çetinoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KARŞIYAKA's Melik Tuluk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save KARŞIYAKA from getting a goal against them. Melik Tuluk was a little too slow when Aral Mete got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-6. Melik Tuluk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soner Ortaç in the 93rd minute of the match. Aral Mete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Melik Tuluk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Beşiktaş left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KARŞIYAKA.
