Sebastiano Escurza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo do Valle in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Abeluse Flow got a freekick which was hit by Josep Cambero. Armando Quijana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dráusio Simão made a huge save. In the 27th minute Estacadinha were awarded a corner. Marcos Eger went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Jânio Faria heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Sebastiano Escurza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Casero in the 32nd minute of play forced Estacadinha's goalkeeper Dráusio Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Estacadinha's goal looked a bit too open when Mambru Jorquera came free, but Dráusio Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
