Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) In the 2nd match minute, U21 Turkey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şadi İspinoz to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, U21 Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hakan Zeynur came free, but Nando Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nando Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Hakan Zeynur, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 8 minutes, Ahmet Hakan Zeynur made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Uruguay's Nando Muslera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nando Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hakan Zeynur in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aktuğ Tuncal was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Turkey's players had a chance to rest. In the 17th minute, Martin Vidanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, U21 Turkey's Ahmet Hakan Zeynur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nando Muslera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 19 minutes U21 Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aktuğ Tuncal who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th minute, U21 Uruguay's Martin Vidanes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Martin Vidanes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of U21 Uruguay protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Martin Vidanes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 24th minute, one of U21 Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for U21 Uruguay. In the 29th minute, Ahmet Hakan Zeynur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Turkey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the U21 Uruguay defense, Ahmet Hakan Zeynur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nando Muslera. The U21 Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nando Muslera should have stopped the shot. Joel Martinez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Kaan Miran made a huge save. The supporters of U21 Turkey booed when U21 Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aktuğ Tuncal hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andre Espinola was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Ahmet Hakan Zeynur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Ahmet Hakan Zeynur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Uruguay's Nando Muslera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. U21 Turkey's Akay Namdar was substituted for Ahmet Hakan Zeynur. Akay Namdar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Nando Muslera made a huge save. Akay Namdar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. U21 Uruguay's Nando Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akay Namdar in the 76th minute of play. Nando Muslera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Akay Namdar in the 79th minute. U21 Turkey's Akay Namdar got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, U21 Uruguay's Nando Muslera got control of the ball when Akay Namdar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Akay Namdar in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nando Muslera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nando Muslera made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Akay Namdar sent off a good shot on target. After 91 played minutes U21 Turkey got a freekick which was hit by Levent Aksungur. U21 Uruguay's Nando Muslera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Uruguay from getting a goal against them. The U21 Turkey supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing U21 Turkey would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
