NHL 11 weird lag

I have been playing for a while.Now,I'm in the 2061-2062 season.So here's the lag: When I want to play a game in the begining of the season,there's a huge lag that last 3 minutes or so.After that,no more lag until next season.I have been playing for a while.Now,I'm in the 2061-2062 season.So here's the lag:
